Grades after 3rd Kyu green belt must be assessed at Area level or higher. Contest is required for all grades after 3rd Kyu green belt.

Standing - Demonstrate

Demonstrate a counter and one combination to and from Ippon Seoi Nage
Demonstrate a counter and one combination to (from Ko Uchi Gari) and from (to O Uchi Gari) Hane Goshi
Demonstrate a counter and one combination to (from Ko Uchi Gari) and from (to O Soto Gari) Harai Goshi

Groundwork - Demonstrate

Kuzure Kesa Gatame (broken scarf hold) to Ude Garami (entangled armlock) to Waki Garame (armlock with armpit)
Waki Gatama (armlock with armpit)
Ude Garame (entangled armlock)

Contest: Win by Wazari or Ippon only

Minimum 3 wins against own grade & gender. Against own age group where possible.

1st & 2nd set of Katame-No-Kata
